Recruiting/Summer Associate Program
Scandaglia &
Ryan believes that in addition to providing our clients the
best possible representation and counsel, we have a responsibility
for preparing future attorneys.
Our Summer
Associate Program provides unique opportunities for first
and second-year law students to gain experience and develop
their legal intellect. At Scandaglia & Ryan, students
have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned veterans.
Our partners serve
as mentors, providing a high level of guidance and knowledge.
Our program goes beyond just research and memoranda writing
to developing associates who possess the training, confidence
and depth of experience to carry them anywhere they choose
to go.
Combining the best
of the big firms with the benefits of a smaller one, mentors
and associates alike find our summer experience one of the
most rewarding and challenging.

I have had the opportunity to learn a lot and, I hope, help out a little in the process. With a lot of peers going through similar situations in their first legal jobs I am able to compare notes with them on their experiences this summer and I must say that my experience here has certainly been the envy of many of them."
-

-
2005 summer associate: Michael Pullos from DePaul University College of Law commented in DePaul's Center for Intellectual Property Law & Information Technology Summer Briefs about his experience at the firm:
"My experience at S&R was extremely rewarding. The firm's open and friendly environment provides exceptional opportunities for interacting with attorneys on a variety of projects. I found it most beneficial to be in a smaller environment because it enabled me to work with all the associates and partners. Being exposed to different viewpoints on a case and various methods of analyzing issues sharpened my analytical abilities."
