SARA YOUN

Sara Youn joined Scandaglia & Ryan in Fall 2008 after working as a staff attorney in the Seattle office of Perkins Coie. Prior to that, she was a judicial extern to the Honorable Gary Larson, District Court Judge for the Fourth Judicial District of Minnesota. Before attending law school, Ms. Youn worked as an honors paralegal at the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division.

Ms. Youn has experience representing clients in complex product liability cases, franchisor-franchisee disputes and class action defense litigation.

CASES IN POINT

  • Defending a petroleum company in a suit asserting claims for negligence, nuisance, trespass, intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress and punitive damages arising out of alleged oil contamination in a rural town.
  • Represented a large aerospace manufacturer on numerous complex product liability matters.
  • Defended large franchisor against a class action arising from the franchise agreement and the payment of licensing fees.
