EVENTSScandaglia & Ryan Presented Its Legal Writing Award at DePaul College of LawScandaglia & Ryan presented Kyle Dickinson, a DePaul University College of Law Center for Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology (CIPLIT) student, with the Scandaglia & Ryan Intellectual Property Legal Writing Award on Monday, November 7, 2011. Mr. Dickinson earned the award after receiving the highest grade in CIPLIT's Intellectual Property Legal Writing Program, which is part of DePaul's first-year Legal Analysis, Research & Communication curriculum. The award will be presented to Mr. Dickinson during a reception at 25 E. Jackson Blvd., Lewis Center, Rare Book Room, 6th Fl. Library, from 4:45 - 5:45 p.m.In addition to working toward his J.D., Mr. Dickinson is a Teaching Assistant for DePaul's Legal Analysis, Research and Communication course. He also is a Staff Writer for the DePaul Journal of Art, Technology and Intellectual Property. This past summer, he studied abroad in Vienna, Austria and Prague, Czech Republic. Previous summers found Mr. Dickinson working for the Steans Music Institute at Ravinia Festival, where he managed and coordinated all aspects of numerous performances. In May 2008, he received a B.S., with high honors, in Media Studies from the University of Illinois. Scandaglia & Ryan founded and has been funding the IP Legal Writing Award since its inception in 2002. Past recipients include Stephen C. Jarvis, Nicholas C.
