EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION

Scandaglia Ryan attorneys represent employers in all types of employment litigation in state and federal courts across the country as well as in a variety of alternative dispute resolution formats. We defend employers in matters involving claims of employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, ERISA and employee benefits, and federal and state regulatory compliance. We also prosecute and defend claims relating to misappropriation of trade secrets and confidential information, breach of employment agreements, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair competition, defamation and other employment-related torts.

In addition, we regularly counsel clients on a variety of employment-related matters including the negotiation of employment agreements, severance agreements, confidentiality agreements and agreements relating to the purchase of shares in the context of private, closely-held corporations. We also have conducted sensitive internal investigations involving allegations of misappropriated funds by corporate officers or breaches of fiduciary duty among partners or corporate officers, and pursued those matters to resolution.
